Well, there’s been a dearth of eagles to photograph lately, and “shooting” coots isn’t much fun, but the drill stems keeping the docks of the Mountain Harbor Marina in place tend to make great perches for the huge flock of vultures that hang out in the area.  So, this beautiful afternoon, I couldn’t resist taking my early Christmas present for some scintillating shots of Birds On Drill Stems (BODS)!
